Youth Minister

Ministry Experience:

I have served in three churches as their Minister of Youth. Olivet Baptist Church, Tulsa, Oklahoma from 1989-1994; First Baptist Church, Inola, Oklahoma 1994-2007; and First Baptist Church, McAlester, Oklahoma, 1997- present.
 

Education:

I graduated High School from Tulsa Christian Academy in 1985. I have an Associates Degree in Liberal Arts from Tulsa Junior College. I have attended Northeastern State University and Southern Nazarene University and am just a few classes short of a Bachelor's Degree Science, Family Studies and Gerontology from Southern Nazarene University.
 

Personal Information:

My wife is Vicki Kaye Millsap of almost seven years. I have a large family with two brothers and two sisters. I was born in Fayetteville, Arkansas in 1966. My parents live just north of Houston, Texas in Willis.
 

Denominational Work:

I have served my association in only a few capacities. I was on the Youth Committee and the Tulakogee Committee while serving in Inola. I have worked with the North American Mission Board in several Mission camps. I am presently on the Pittsburgh County Association Vacation Bible School Committee.
 

Hobbies:

I love to play the guitar and write songs. I enjoy fishing, working in the yard, watching cooking shows especially Paula Deen and the Iron Chef America, and reading science fiction novels.

What would you want the world to know about you? I want the world to know that I'm a Christian first and that I want them to be one too. I consider it a high privilege to be a Youth Minister. On the inside I drive a 1974 Metallic Blue Camaro. On the inside I'm usually shy but I like to dance. I really like thunderstorms. Oh and I'm very allergic to cats.
